Updating my details (name, email, Medicare info)
Last Updated
February 19, 2025
Short Answer

You can update your personal details in the Abby Health app under your profile settings. Keeping your information accurate ensures you receive proper care, allows for bulk billing through Medicare, and ensures you receive important updates, prescriptions, and referrals without delays.

Keeping your account details updated is essential for ensuring seamless access to healthcare. Your name, email, and Medicare details must be correct to avoid any issues with billing, prescriptions, or referrals.

How to Update Your Details

  1. Open the Abby Health app.
  2. Go to ‘Profile’ in the main menu.
  3. Select ‘Edit Details’.
  4. Update your name, email, Medicare number, or phone number.
  5. Tap ‘Save Changes’ to confirm.

Why Updating Your Details Is Important

Medicare billing – Incorrect Medicare details may lead to failed bulk billing.

Prescriptions & referrals – Your email and phone number must be correct to receive these.

Security & account recovery – If you forget your password, your email must be correct to reset it.

💡 If you need to update your Medicare card number, do this before your appointment to avoid billing issues.
