Short Answer

Anyone with a valid Medicare card can use Abby Health for 100% bulk-billed telehealth services. Our online clinic is designed for people who don’t have a regular GP, need fast access to a doctor or nurse practitioner, or live in areas with limited healthcare options. If you’re eligible, you can book an appointment and receive prescriptions, referrals, medical certificates, and mental health plans—all from your phone.

Abby Health provides fast, accessible, and fully bulk-billed telehealth services for Australians who need medical care without the inconvenience of traditional GP visits. Our platform ensures that any eligible patient with Medicare can connect with a licensed doctor or nurse practitioner, receive prescriptions, and manage their health—all online.

Who Is Eligible to Use Abby Health?

You can use Abby Health if you meet the following criteria:

You have a valid Australian Medicare card – Abby Health services are bulk-billed, meaning you won’t pay anything for your appointment if you have Medicare.

You are physically in Australia at the time of your consultation – Medicare regulations require that you be in the country during your telehealth visit.

You need a general health consultation, prescription, referral, or medical certificate – Abby covers a wide range of common health concerns.

💡 Don’t have Medicare? You can still use Abby’s free tools, such as the symptom checker and medical guides.
